We asked our agents to share their favorite Spring activities, places to visit and restaurants to dine al fresco to help give our community a seasonal refresh as the weather turns warmer. Here is what our team has to say!

Amanda

What Spring activity do you enjoy in your neighborhood? We like to take walks before or after dinner around Society Hill, Headhouse Square, Old City, and the Delaware River. I also love to see all of the beautiful flower boxes around the neighborhood. And we love getting John’s Water Ice!

What is your favorite Spring activity to do in/around Philadelphia? Head to the beach! If I’m not working you can find me down the shore almost every spring weekend. I’m also licensed in NJ so I can work and play at the same time.

What is your favorite outdoor dining venue? Suraya, Royal Boucherie, and Standard Tap – it’s too hard to pick just one!

Brea

What Spring activity do you enjoy in your neighborhood? This is actually only our second spring in our new home and really first, if you don’t count 2020! We just enjoy taking advantage of all the park systems — there is always a new park to explore!

What is your favorite Spring activity to do in/around Philadelphia? Anything outside — Parks on Tap, Flea Markets, the Zoo, picnics, Cherry Blossoms, baseball games — anything we can do to take advantage of the weather, we try to do!

What is your favorite outdoor dining venue? It’s coming soon, but Lola’s Garden in Suburban Square looks like it’s going to be beautiful! Very excited for this one’s arrival!

Eliza

What Spring activity do you enjoy in your neighborhood? I’m working to revitalize a garden on my block with some neighbors. It’s protected by Neighborhood Garden Trust and we want to create a community space with more greenery.

What is your favorite Spring activity to do in/around Philadelphia? I love Spring because I can ride my bike more. I feel young and light hearted on a bicycle, whether it’s my commuter bike around town or my road bike for long distances. I recommend MLK Dr for safe riding.

What is your favorite outdoor dining venue? Rittenhouse Square Park + Delivery – I love meeting friends to picnic in the park and order delivery to the park.

Galit

What Spring activity do you enjoy in your neighborhood? I so look forward to hosting my annual Egg Hunt at Julian Abele park! It’s so much fun to see all of the neighborhood kids collecting eggs. While I wasn’t able to do it last year and still don’t feel comfortable gathering such a large group this year, I can’t wait to resume in 2022 if it’s safe to do so.

What is your favorite Spring activity to do in/around Philadelphia?  Covid has us on a “pandemic playground tour” so we’ve been heading to playgrounds throughout the city. We are loving the newly renovated Gold Star Park, and old favorites like Smith Playground for their giant slide.

What is your favorite outdoor dining venue? L’Anima in Graduate Hospital has one of the best outdoor patios in the city! Their food is delicious and they’re BYO!

Thai

What Spring activity do you enjoy in your neighborhood? We live in the Fishtown/Kensington neighborhoods and we love to take our pup to the Palmer Street dog park and the Penn Treaty Park for a picnic.

What is your favorite Spring activity to do in/around Philadelphia? My favorite Spring activity is to go for a bike ride in the Wissahickon Park. We pack a lunch and hit the trails. It’s so beautiful in the Spring to bike along the river and watch the leaves grow in week after week.

What is your favorite outdoor dining venue? My favorite dining venue is to sit outside at Johnny Brenda’s at the corner of Frankford and Girard to people watch. Plus their burger is delicious!
